Choosing the Public Event List will take you to the list. Your Zoom account enables you to sign in to the list of public meetings and webinars that you can join online by clicking JOIN A MEETING under the JOIN A VIEWING link on your Zoom calendar page. However, remember that taking action on Zoom meetings or using your trollies and other activity can land you in more trouble. If the individual mistyped their meeting ID and entered the Zoom Personal Room or searched for an active meeting, they can join the Zoom meeting. By signing in to your CU email account, you can hold meetings with prospective students, co-workers, or even people who still need to register as CU members. Those who cannot join a Zoom meeting but wish to participate can use the Zoom mobile apps or desktop applications. If you want to protect yourself from Zoom-bombing, an updated one-time random meeting ID will be available at each new scheduled meeting and webinar with an 11-digit ID rather than a nine-digit one (Personal Meeting ID). When you open Outlook and click Schedule a meeting, you will be directed to the Zoom group. To accomplish this, ensure Generate Automatically is selected under the Meeting ID heading. The password option also adds another layer of security to your meeting.Identify the meeting ID you wish to connect with by providing the start/time you are having.Include a name for your meeting that has a connection to your audience.Log in using your Zoom account when you open the app.There is a choice to Join a Channel from the plus icon – click Join Channel to access this list of channels you may join.Find out who is currently associated with each of your contacts by clicking their Channels link.Select “Only Host” and close the window in which it is displayed. Under “Who can share?” select a social network. If a participant wishes to share screen time during the Zoom Meeting, a few seconds after clicking on the arrow next to “Share Screen,” select Advanced Sharing Options from the host controls. The public event list can be accessed by clicking on it. Scroll down the page to see which meetings can be joined, or hover over the JOIN A MEETING link. The Zoom website can be accessed by registering. You can expect to find public seminars and webinars on a general schedule for up to 12 months once scheduled. Zoom meetings and webinars can be scheduled on a public calendar whose URL is linked to the Vanity URL under this option. You’ll be able to participate in the conversation and share your screen, just like in a regular Zoom meeting. I've made a couple of videos on what co-hosts can do. One thing a co-host can't do is end the meeting. There are only a few things the co-host can't do. The co-host has almost the same permissions as the Host. If you have never used it in a large meeting you are trying to run, you should use it. Co-host is one of my favorite Zoom features. The other role is a co-host, but you can only assign someone a co-host role after the meeting starts. With Zoom, you have a Host and Participants. Attendees are people outside your organization/company. Presenters are people in your tenant (think of that as your company), and they can do almost everything the Organizer can do. The Organizer is the person that scheduled the meeting. With Teams, you have a meeting Organizer, Presenters, and Attendees. Just the way it is structured compared to Teams. I'm not sure if Zoom could implement this feature. It would be nice to go the other way - notify Participants that the Host started the meeting, but there is no setting for that in Zoom. This feature is enabled by default, and it is a great feature. That setting is under Setting - In Meeting (Advanced) - When attendees join meeting before the host. If you are the host, you can get informed, by email, that someone joined your meeting that you haven't started. If you are a participant in a Zoom meeting, you do not get notified that someone started the meeting with Zoom.
